B Corp versus <scp>ISO</scp> 9001 and 14001 certifications: Aligned, or alternative paths, towards sustainable development?

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) emerged to deliver sustainable economic, environmental, and value organization's extended stakeholders society in general. This study investigates the similarities, differences, relationships between B Corp, ISO 9001, 14001 certifications is supported by a mixed research methodology sample of 701 Corp companies certified January 2020 March 2021. The results indicate that 9001 have statistically higher scores for Environment dimension but are inconclusive, or even contradictory, other BIA (B Impact Assessment) dimensions. Differences size, activity sector geographical location discussed. It shown both companies, guided different missions business models, contribute, at levels, towards CSR development goals.
